About Thymosin Alpha-1
Thymosin Alpha-1 is a synthetic peptide of 28 amino acids, also called thymalfasin. It is often written Thymosin Alpha 1 or Ta1.
Its sequence is identical to human thymosin alpha 1, which is derived from the precursor protein prothymosin alpha and has an acetylated N-terminus. The reference values are molecular formula C129H215N33O55, molecular weight 3108.3 g/mol and CAS 69521-94-4.
